The worst thing about this result is having to listen to commentators talk about us not having beaten a team above us this season. Yes we know that already. Stop repeating it 25 times a game just because we're playing one.

Great performance. Shame about the result. We do have an easier run in now, but I hope we keep up the good performances. We have a tendency to raise/lower our level to that of the opposition. We need to maintain today's level. It's imperative.
Brilliant football Liverpool, definitely better football. The results will come! Thats 2 really entertaining games in 4 days because we are playing better football, I'm enjoying the games so much more than the last three years where I was hoping for a lucky result (JESUS, remember the Hodgson days). Henderson is gonna be a Fucking Stalwart for Liverpool if he keeps improving as he has. Sorry for you Pepe, a fucked up rush of blood to the head, it happens the best of them. I'm going to be uncharacteristically optimistic here - unbeaten at Arsenal and City away in two games. With 1 and 2/3rds of those games yielding great performances. I would have been made up with that.

Allen has a future at Liverpool alright but he might be in the middle of doing a Henderson, lost confidence and has to come through it.
If the whole team starts picking up as it seems it should lift him too.
