Over the past 3 to 4 years French football has been terrible, so really the 5 champions league games that could be counted as top flight. Saying that I've not only seen him play once.
 
I really know nothing about this lad, but i'm hoping from all i've read he will do great things.

From what I've seen he isn't very good at all. He has this cult status i Paris but more like Biscan cult than Gerrard.
 
17M euros for someone with one year left on his contract is loads of money...
Reading some comments on here, he's the new Maldini...hes good but not that good and thats why he lost his place at PSG

He's ace. Echo said 12 mill and even if its 14-15 mill its beside the point.
If Rodgers feel this is a player to take us forward then I'm happy he's spending it on him rather than going for the cheaper 2nd option.

This is a Sturridge/Coutinho type signing imho. He's built for the EPL. 27 games in the league last year so he wasnt that out in the cold...

Couldn't agree more. He already possesses all these raw, beastly attributes. Now imagine him taken under Toure's tutelage and moulded further.

The problem is that he takes alot of bad decisions and goes too often to the ground trying to tackle instead of the safer option with the chance of a second attempt to break up the attack.

Edit! But!! He's ours, I'll support the fucker and hope that he's better than I think!
