I just stumbled across this video, magic. The way he passes, it's almost a little Alonso esc. What a
miss he was. Do we really need Joe Allen when we've got arguably the best player in the league in that position?

On a side note, isn't MilanKakaBaros just the king of compilaitons.

I'm glad to have him back.

His passing in nowhere near Xabi's though. I'm glad Lucas has become more adventurous with his passing, but he's still nowhere Xabi's level. He's neat and tidy in that regard, and that's all we need from him.

on reflection, lucas makes you wonder how fickle and silly us fans can be. in the space of 2 yrs he has gone from being arguably the worst midfielder we ever saw in a red shirt to one of our best in recent time. sometimes we need to be more patient with young players who have the basics in the toolkit - i'm thinking of henderson. lucas is a joy now.

Lucas, to me, highlighted how important having the right attitude is in improving into a top-level footballer.

Henderson appears to have it to, and it's for that reason I'm sticking by him.

Joe Allen plays in a different position.

It's like saying do we really need Clint Dempsey when we've already got Pepe Reina?

Lucas had a very good third of a season. Before that, he was pretty average.

It still remains to be seen how well he comes back after the injury.

We definitely missed him when he got injured but that's because we had the likes of Adam and Spearing in there, which just made everything look all the more desperate.

It makes me kinda depress after watching the compilation, I almost forgot how we used to score goals.

We missed him badly. His games againt Chelsea and City before his injury were outstanding.

If Lucas gets another longterm injury soonish, his place in the history books of football as the greatest liverpool player will be undisputed. He will be the 6th king of football.

I dont know who the first five are, so dont bother asking.

he's good and played some great games before his injury but personally i don't think he's half the superstar some people would have you believe. He's become a bit of a "cult hero" also so people are blind to his real level . I mean he's certainly not better than the likes of Alonso , gerrard or mascherano , even if they're slightly different types of players . And even Hamann was a better overall . Fuck , i reckon on RAWK there's people who rate him above gerrard at his best . And he's obviously a bigger liverpool legend than carragher .

But anyway the lucas debate is boring , the most important thing is how he recovers from his injury .

I just hope he comes back playing as well as he was just before he got his injury, we'll have a decent player on our hands if thats the case.

Milankakabaros if the boss! Great vids. He could make me look like a world beater!
Get Milankakabaros on facebook. His compilations are boss.

Happy to have Lucas back. He's by no means on Alonso's level but then again who is? We certainly missed his influence and the team as a whole never recovered from his absence.

I'm not expecting miracles. In fact, I think his injury is seriously going to hinder the huge progress he was making last year.
