I thought it was a fantastic pass.
The change with the magazine was recommended by Brian Barwick some time ago. Anyway, great to see Suso play so well. His attitude has improved dramatically.
This is his second year playing for the reserves, I think he'll benefit from playing in the championship.
Exactly. "Sadly", Swansea and Wigan are in the premiership. Maybe Martinez would be interested in loaning him?
That play around 6m00s is what has me excited. He uses his body to win the ball, excellent close control and a fantastic shot (albeit slightly off target). He has something Silva-esque about him.
I'm still waiting for us to sign a Mata, Silva, Hazard, Iniesta, Belhanda, Hamsik type player.
If we don't, then promote this little f*cker.

his natural position is through the middle so I think he'll be hard pressed to get game time here. I can see him being played in a wide position and looking out of his depth because he doesn't have the pace to stand out in that position.
I see the same thing that happened to patcheco and la tellac happening to him.
lack of chances through the middle > ineffective out wide > loaned out.
we'll see if he can buck the trend.
attacking CM - henderson, adam, jonjo, maxi, gerrard
forward/second striker - suarez, bellamy, maxi, gerrard,
those are the players suso has to get past to have a sniff in his favoured position
That's the worry alright Spidey. He is so much more effective in the middle. I hope he gets a chance.
To be honest, if the manager really has faith in him it wouldn't be so hard getting past some of the players you've mentioned.
Henderson - Is he really that good?
Adam - I'll be surprised if he isn't sold this summer
Jonjo - When I've seen him play for the reserves he hasn't been a lot better than Suso.
The rest are either world class or have an abundance of experience. Getting a place on the bench shouldn't be too difficult.
The trait I admire most about certain footballers, is the ability to make other players better. I really think Suso got that.
From what I've heard/read he's very highly rated by Borrell and Dalglish and the only thing keeping him from playing for the first team is his lack of effort. They've purposely put him on the wing in order for him to learn to track back and work harder. It also allows him to cut inside and shoot with his left foot, as you clearly see in the video. What I also see is the ability to dictate the pace of the game and collect the ball from the defence (Alonso-esque).
I've been saying it for a while but he's the most gifted player we have in the reserves.
it's not a case of good, it's a matter of who kenny would trust more in the centre of midfield.
He's had a back injury, niggly but nothing serious, according to the commentator yesterday. He won't play until next season, as our last game is Newcastle on Monday.

so we sign a player who is injured ...that's not like us !
They were keen to stress it wasn't serious. I think it's more to do with bad timing and a lack of Reserve fixtures.
