Sagna with a brilliant move to bring the ball around Agger in the box, but the Dane just physically rides Sagna out of play.

Wilshere gets a card for a late challenge on Mascherano.
 
Very poor from us there. Johnson won the ball, we had a chance to counter attack there and there was very little movement off the ball for Johnson.
 
I was saying before the game that N'gog needs a strike partner alongside him, especially against the better sides.

Our attacking play has been pretty poor.

Good individual effort from Johnson.
 
Nice interplay between Johnson and Kuyt ends with GlenJo firing a left footer narrowly over.

That's a harsh red. Very harsh. Definitely a card but not a straight red.

Thought Joe Cole was being wasted anyways though. There is no point in playing a flair no.10 type player if you're just going to go for the long ball over the top or long crossfield ball.

I don't see what Cole was playing at to be honest.

2 footed challenge, off the floor, when we're under no real danger.
