Haha, well I've always said the good thing about Pepe is the speed at which he gets over a mistake. He'd better not prove me wrong!

The big slaphead will be absolutely fine. I remember someone writing about Shanks in an article many years ago that "if you were going across the river to fight the Indians, you'd want Shanks in the boat with you." Ditto Pepe.

That was never a red card, but a yellow for sure. The whole team played really well and Reina did really well just a shame he let in a goal like that 🙁 still love him tho.

Bring on Man City 🙂

Pulsating game full of incident.

Arsenal were much the better in the first half and I think Cole's sending off actually got us going. Cole's challenge was rash but he has no form and the referee should have seen it for what it was, which was clumsy and not 'serious foul play'.

Ngog's goal was fantastic, he let the ball do the work and run across his body before smashing it into the roof of the net. Had Torres scored that it's all we'd be talking about. The boy is a much better player than given credit for and looks to be improving.

Arsenal kept possession well in the second half and I thought they would capitalise on their numerical advantage but were held well by a determined defence and a wonderful save from Rosicky by Reina, shame he was to go on and concede a comedy goal but I thought Arsenal were due a share of the points.

Didn't agree with the sending off of Kocielny, the contact he made was pure instinct. The officials got all the major decisions wrong today.

The spirit and togetherness we showed today is something to build on. Hopefully Joe Cole will use his suspension to get fitter and reflect that there's a difference between controlled enthusiam and wild enthusiasm.

That level of desire maintained throughout the season will stand us in good stead.

I can't wait fore the Citeh game. I predicted an Anfield win for us against the Gooners. Close but no cigar!

Looking at how well we performed, I believe that we'll put in a much better performance against the Citizens and walk away with our first away points for the season.

The lads look pumped. Nice to see players playing for the jersey. A concussed Agger showed great heart for the cause!

It will be very important to take three points from City, both to kickstart our campaign and to put an early dent in their confidence and get the media swirling around them.

And has it been confirmed that Agger was concussed? He certainly looked dazed but if he did suffer a concussion, I doubt the trainers would have allowed him to go back in. I realise they were hesitant to send him back on but a truly concussed player has no business on the pitch.

No confirmation on Agger's injury. My assessment is purely based on his lethargic reactions and diziness. Hopefully he is not.

He was concussed. Truly.

Agger's concussion is confirmed and he misses the Europa League game and possibly the Citeh game.

The lad has no memory of the Arsenal game.

Get well Danny Boy!

Watched the highlights today.

Think I was a bit harsh on Cole. It deffo wasn't a red card and I think we should have appealed it.
