I'm not sure what to make of that.

I'm happy but disappointed at the same time.

Winning that would have given the club such a lift into the season.

Well, I'd have taken a draw at half-time, but that was fucking cruel.

45mins of bricking it to concede like that.

Football is well and truly back. And I hate it!
Yeah, pretty much. Just knew the equalizer was coming but if somehow we could have managed the victory I would have well and truly believed that this was our year. And what a cunt of a goal to give up too.

Still, I wasn't very optimistic coming into this game and we got the point. Hopefully City are still yet to gel next week and we could actually have two of our most difficult fixtures out of the way with alright results.

It was always coming at the end there actually glad to get a point would of been sickening if arse had snatched an undeserved winner.

Nice to see a fighting spirit on display for once.

Thing is, you couldn't really say it was coming either. Sure they had loads of possession, but they created fuck all. Just like last season, they got handed a goal.

Frustrating, but after the sending off if I was offered 1-1 I would have taken it. Nice goal by Ngog. Mascherano was awesome, Arsenal were pretty shit and without Reina's gift I doubt they would have scored.

Theo Walcott furthers his efforts to be crowned England's most overrated footballer.

We played some good football considering we had 10 men for most of the match, Skrtel, Carra and Agger were fantastic!

Just feels like we can't catch a break at times.

Our matches just have a sense of impending doom about them. Or at least they have for the past year.

But I have to say I genuinely enjoyed watching this game more than I have any of our matches for quite some time.

I missed the whole game; how did we play?, good?, bad? How did Cole get sent off. Someone pleaaassssseee write a lil summary.

Really?

I was bricking it for most of it. It wasn't the sort of game you can enjoy for me.

Lets look on the bright side, our defence was great and we would have won if it wasnt for Reina's error.

Agreed. We needed a good start, and while I suppose we could feel hard done by, I think that was something to build on.

the arse fans would have loved that from riena, after he pulled the barca shirt on cesc
That was Pique and Puyol. Not Reina.

Reina called Fabregas 'the future of Barca' and held him tight.

It's safe to say the Arse fans will be amused.

I was bricking it but I was excited to be watching. Last season I just couldn't bear watching us. Weak at the back and toothless up front I allowed apathy to mask my disgust. I would rather have seen us walk them off the pitch today but I thought it was a really gutsy performance and we caught a bit of bad luck.

I'm overall pleased even if a little disappointed.

In fairness to Reina, he did pull of a save minutes before which no other keeper in the Prem could have got near.

I'm only saying because this will get forgotten by the press.

Oh no. We never won. We're doomed. We're gonna get relegated.
Are we? Shit, that's depressing :-\

Carra given man of the match and asked if there's a different feeling around the club with Roy in charge. Carra is classy and says he'd rather not speak on the subject because he has a lot of respect for the previous manager. Well done Carra.

Squiggs: Reina was very unfortunate with the goal but for my money he's still the best keeper in the world and gaffes happen.
