Luis Suarez is in the squad for tonight's game.
Liverpool's new number 7 has received international clearance from the FA and has subsequently been named in Kenny Dalglish's squad for tonight's home game with Stoke. Jamie Carragher is also fit again so Andy Carroll is the only absentee.

This, but with Maxi ahead of Kuyt on the right. And obviously Suarez ahead of N'gog if fit.
 
Liverpool new boy Luis Suarez has been given the green light to make his debut against Stoke after receiving international clearance.

Suarez, who joined Liverpool from Ajax on transfer deadline day, had been waiting on the necessary paperwork to be completed before he could be available for the Stoke clash at Anfield.

Now that has been done Suarez goes straight into the squad as Kenny Dalglish's side look for a third successive victory.

The Uruguyan could start on the bench as he could be lacking match fitness having not played since early December because of a ban in Holland.

We'd severely be lacking height with both Maxi and Suarez in attack.
 
I'm guessing Suarez won't start. Come on after 60/70 mins.

I'm not looking forward to this game unless he starts.
 
Everyone seems more pre-occupied with the game at the weekend.

This is just as important and for me if Surez doesn't play we have a problem because we don't have a striker worthy of the name if he doesn't.

Losing this and beating Chelsea doesn't get us anywhere.

How weird, I just made a post in this thread about what a beast Suarez is and it's not here?

I saw saying, match fitness, familiarity with team mates etc they're no barriers for Luis, he's beast and he knows now barriers, play him from the start, unleash the beast

I want him to start too. I have a bit of a bad feeling about this game as Suarez might not start and we have just lost Torres so we might struggle going forward. Also Skrtel doesn't really fill me with confidence against Stoke so I'd consider starting the Greek in this one.

I think we should start him and give him 60 and see how he is.
He hasn't played for weeks and will be dying to get a game.
We're at home and we owe Stoke a proper fucking beating.
I really hope he starts.

I just put Lucas behind to fit it in. How else would we line up with a 3-5-2? Maybe Aurelio instead of Johnson and Johnson instead of Kelly, but besides that, if it's 3-5-2, I can't see many more options.
