Leg breaking tackle = spitting

On my 'you be the judge' thread people were giving out more severe bans for name calling than leg breaking, so maybe the FA are acting on 'behalf of the people'? :s

Sad state of affairs though, I've no problem with that 3 game ban, but a leg breaker should have the book thrown at them. I guess everyone would claim the tackle was an 'accident' though to get out of it, but spitting, is hard(er) to get out of.

Ramires' red card tackle should have been at least 5 games in my book. Deliberately trying to injure a player with a disgusting cowardly leg stamp is far worse that spitting in my opinion.
Nice to know how much worse biting is than spitting though. Must remember that.

Perhaps for bad injuries, the person who made the malicious tackle should be banned the equal amount of time that the injured is out. That oughtta scare offenders. Also it would have meant a one game ban for Suarez for the biting incident
