As was the case until the Madrid game last season, he's been fucking woeful this season.

Yes, he scored a goal today - his first since early September - but fuck me, he's been diabolical.

Aside from running around like a headless chicken, what does he offer this team attack wise?

Woeful post as usual from Terrier... Kuyt is good at tracking back, good at defensive duties, allows Johnson to overlap, offers another option up front.

A poor mans Rooney... but he's still been twice the player of Lucas.

He was immense today.

Really i thought he was pretty poor today goal aside.

Just got in from Goodison. It's been such a boss day.

He wasn't the best today but you really have to see him in the flesh to see how much hard work he puts in.

How come Terrier only appears to make fucking negative posts ?

We won and still the shit slinging.

Dull as fuck.

Yes I'm afraid so.
It must take an odd sort of person to want to post the kind of depressing shite he does after a fucking Derby win.

Dirk frigging scored as well !

Hello ?

I watched a little bit of the Valencia game yesterday and oddly, I was in amazement of some of the technique their forward line displayed - the control, the assuredness of their touch, the flicks, the passing. I don't know why it impressed me so much but I guess it's in no small part down to the fact that we've been pretty awful for the last couple of months.

It was a good three points today but 'bragging rights' aside, there wasn't too much to be encouraged about out there. We were fucking dreadful and although Kuyt got a badly needed goal, he's been as guilty as anyone of poor form.

Anyways... let the party begin!

He's not been great for much of this season, but Kuyt is still a good player

Agreed ... but we cannot have him as a 'guaranteed starter' when he spends 2-4 months of the season playing as badly as Lucas.

I know more about football to be fair.

Kuyt bailed out Gerrard for most of the game today, he was playing right wing and support striker and then closing down their attacks - in a game of little football today, in fact a horrible game of a ball, he was greatly appreciated ! Delighted he got his goal today.

Lucas et al often takes a sizeable amount of abuse on this site, granted it's mostly deserved.

But just because Kuyt runs around tirelessly for 93 minutes a game, it doesn't mean he should fly under the radar and be immune from criticism, does it?

He's been moot.

So why make this post today when he was one of our better players and scored in a 2-0 WIN ?

Maybe we could add this to Vantage's splendiferous alternative meaning for 'odd'.

So:

Odd = rampagingly fucking stupid

Moot =
