TBF in addition to those press mentions I've seen him as a studio pundit on Sky being very complimentary about LFC during at least one game from Anfield, and I don't think it was just the contrast with that yeti Keys which gave that impression.

Definately wasn't your half-hearted run of the mill compliments, I can recall him mentioning that Anfield has a special "aura" about it, commnenting on how it was especially intimidating etc.

The idea of Joe Cole is way better'n the actual Joe Cole.
In theory he's a diminutive footballing genius who can control the tempo of a game and create a chance out of nothing (this theory is normally the one espoused when he is injured or not playing in the team)
But in practice he's a massive headed slightly downsy looking barrell chested cockerney cheeky chappie who more often than not does nothing of any note on the football pitch and rarely scores or creates anything but occassionally beats a man with a trick before wiping his massive head with his sweatband and being substituted on 60 mins.

Some risks are worth taking, especially when we're strapped for cash. If we are in for him I hope he'll get a real bastard of a medical anyway, not least because of the Harry Cool fiasco.

I remember well how excited I was when we signed Kewell. It's fair to point out that he had a great first season for us before the injuries ruined the remainder of his Liverpool career.
 
They say no news is good news, no ones even been linked with him since his so called medical with us, wonder if he's now house hunting on merseyside?
