I personally wouldn't have a problem with him having a blip in form if he had been less of a twat when he and Arbeloa had a spat last year. How many people screamed in his face yesterday in the second minute when his schoolboy error nearly led to a goal? None. Cos they wouldn't dare, and just the same as he shouldn't have to Arbeloa.

He lost a lot of my respect in that incident.

quite funny that carra has don't that before, miskicked the ball to let another player have a free one on goal only for the player not to finish. can't remember the game though.

I think people have been waiting to pounce since the arbeloa debacle which pissed a lot off people of.
 
All I'm saying is that Carra shouldn't be "undroppable".

He lost most of that when he decided to have a pop at Arby on the pitch. He is a great player and has been a fantastic servant to the club, but that was unforgiveable. Maybe he knew Arby was on his way? No matter, how would he have reacted had Pepe grabbed him yesterday and given him a bollocking in front of his team mates and fans?

I know in my heart and soul that every time Carragher goes out on that pitch he's prepared himself properly, he's fully motivated and he only wants the best for LFC.

There's quite a few players I can think of that I can't honestly say that about. Arbeloa may well have been at the stage where his head was turned and he was merely seeing out his time here, god knows he was rubbish towards the end of last season. If Carragher felt the need to tell him that in full view of a stadium of fans then fair enough. I'd back Carragher's judgement every time.

I really like what im seeing from him lately, hes even pushing forward in the other half a lot more than he used to.

Almost every time he plays, he's always been the weakest link that Skrtel.. except when I started.

because they are proffessional and they feel nothing is to be gained by chewing out your own player. you think sami hasn't ever thought 'what the FUCK is he doing?' but he has never done that. you can lead by example.

carra is a top pro and our best defender but he was out of order that day and he hasn't made the best starts of the season, I don't think anyone is out of order saying that. personally I tdon't think the answer is dropping him because I think we'd get worse not better.
 
Carragher has been a great player and character for LFC however it's clear that he's passed his peak. No matter how painful, it's the manager's job to recognize when a player has become a liability to both look after the team's interests and preserve the reputation of such a fine servant.

That time hasn't necessarily arrived however he needs to sort himself out quickly and I hope he does. I agree with Vantage that he let himself down with the Arbeloa affair. I wonder how he'd have reacted had Arbeloa commited yesterday's fuck up and late last season when he feathered the ball straight into the path of a striker who had a clear run at goal. And another thing, he was in front of Cole for the corner that resulted in the second goal yesterday. He missed his header allowing Cole to score yet instantly turned to blame Skrtel. Fuck that too.
