Do you all think he will be worth breaking our unwritten wage structure for ? I don't think he has been that great for the last 2 seasons - is he deserving of such suggested increases.

According to this source, the issue potentially also appears to be with him demanding to be the team captain. So that he seeks not just big money but control of the dressing room. He perhaps wants to lead the training sessions and boss other players.

His contract will not be played out in public all the while publicly pushing his demand to become the team captain. lol
