Just wondering, and sorry to remind everybody it happened, but it's good to see how far we've come.

In answer to the questions: (a) quite possibly (we weren't that far above the zone as it was), and (b) unlikely but not impossible. I'm old enough to remember when the Mancs were relegated in the mid-70s, and unlike us under Budgie they had a manager (Tommy Docherty) who could actually do the job. He just hadn't been given enough time to save them, though he brought them straight back up the following season.
 
It still baffles me how he's got the England job. I'd be depressed if I was an England fan.
 
Here's another reason (like we needed one) why he should never have been Liverpool manager.
