To stand alone as the highest scorer in a 38 game season, after missing the first 5 games would be something very special.

I have a serious crush on Luis.

I hope he can lift himself to get one more goal today.
 
One thing is certain regardless of whether or not he scores the media will be waiting for any sign of emotion that can be construed as evidence that he has played his last game for us

Yep. If he waves to the crowd or does a lap of honour with the other players at the end then that will be a CLEAR sign he's off.

I'm hoping we can go fucking mental & score a silly amount before half time. I want city to go in at half time & hear a stupid scoreline that makes them think maybe a draw won't be enough.

They'll envisage Liverpool as a Terminator that just won't fucking die, walking out of an inferno ceaselessly hunting them down, let them have that image in their mind, those doubts creeping in, as they go out to face their nervous crowd.

Yeah, but that was against a Palace side, at Palace, who looked defensively strong. In his defence I think had we gotten a fourth when we should have he may have been right.

This is against a Newcastle team who have been on their holidays since mid march & are massively struggling, & we're at home.

Newcastle are fucking troshus.... maybe a sending or 2 and pent up frustration from our so called "implosion" might result in something ridonkulous but...

Even then we wont beat them by a cricket score big enough so ... and even if we did the chances of WH making it to half time having not conceded are between slim and fuck all.....

We should be praying for an obdurate West ham plus lucky late late goal and a nervous as hell city.

Agree. But I don't think hoping we get a few before half time is that unrealistic, & it may well effect city if they aren't having a good game.

You could argue our putting pressure on from a cricket score might spur them on to score against an hopefully stubborn WH.... I don't know... I just want us to win and win well.

The rest would be miracle fate stuff IMO
 
I'm really looking forward to it myself actually, I'm nervous, but not matter what we've qualified for the cl & have had a boss season, & loads to look forward to next season, so I'm not gonna be gutted, had a couple of weeks to adjust to the idea it's unlikely to be us.

Yep thats how I feel. Today is a celebration regardless of City's result. Lets just spank the Geordies and have a great time of it
