Regrettably I doubt it. There may well be ructions within that club - van Gaal doesn't seem able to function without them happening somewhere along the line - but I'm afraid I think they will turn out to be a fair bit more successful than they would have been if they'd stuck with Gollum.

We have Sturridge, Flanno amd Markovic back in the UK - injured - and Lovren couldn't get a visa. We've played 18-20 players every match so far and will do the same for the final. United put out pretty much their strongest team for the 1st half against Real, they'll do the same on Monday.

However anyone with an inkling of common sense knows that even though we hate each other this is still a pre-season friendly with far from full strength sides and TBH the results is neither here nor there bar some fan baiting for a few days.

How good is Herrera? I watched him a couple of times last season, and he looked to me like the Spanish Joe Allen.
