The good thing about this transfer is that its appaz just as much if not even more driven by the data departement and scouts, Fallows and Hunter.
When Klopp and the data guys are in sync we usually hit a transfer home run.

Been a fan since 19/20 (at least) ?

[article]Fans have been encouraged over the Gravenberch pursuit after a picture of the youngster wearing a Liverpool shirt emerged online. The photo shows Gravenberch wearing the club’s shirt from the 2019/20 season, which features a badge for the Club World Cup and FA Cup.[/article]

In your face Robbie Keane!

I’m looking forward to seeing this guy in red. Part of me was against this signing as I’d rather we bolstered DM/CB but that’s not his fault.

As a player he looks similar to Gini. He looks to be press resistant, strong on the ball and a safe passer. The only thing that worries me about this similarity is that our team doesn’t play the same system but we can assess that once he’s playing.

This guy is a year younger than Curtis Jones and has 50 more career appearances (according to Transfermarkt) so my expectations remain similar to my expectations for Jones at this stage - measured.

He is a far, far better forward passer than Gini, he can really progress the play forward rather than just playing it safe. If he can learn to be half as good defensively, we got ourselves some player.

Looks good.

What’s our record like with players who didn’t work out at other big clubs?

Phil Coutinho - great
Nuri Sahin - meh
Balotelli - train wreck
Arbeloa? - great

who else is there? Morientes maybe but he was old
