Gravenberch

From what I've read and seen:

Cons -

Not great in the air or tacking, but decent at interceptions.

Not creative in the final third, although can pick a pass if a clear one opens.

Doesn't consistently impose himself on games.

Playing him as a sole six or alongside Trent would be suicide.

Pros -

Decent first touch and control, takes it well on the half turn, and has the pace, acceleration and strength to get away from players.

Decent at spreading the play with accurate and pacey crossfield passes.

Decent dribbler, although I can get ball stuck between his feet and overrun the ball.

Decent ball striking... A bit like Gakpo, but it's not seen enough.

----------

Bayern fans are happy with the fee and he's alienated the fan base and club with the amount of interviews he's given, although many maintain he's still a highly talented player and felt they could have made it work had things been different. Ultimately though two decent managers have assessed him as a squad option at best.

So you're saying he's basically Hendo with pace. I'll take that.

I dunno... Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Endo and Gravenberch in, Hendo, Fabinho, Keita, Milner, Ox out, it's a furious and quite impressive changeover.

Szobo already looks incredible, and Gravenberch is the kind of player against low blocks we need. Would say with a CB I'd call it a 9,5 window
Yep. I had it at 7/10 before, it's 8/10 now. A CB to make it a 9.

He’ll do just fine, the kids just turned 21…a lot of developmental years ahead of him. Another 4-5 years to go before he even hits his peak years….at this point who gives a fuck if he’s a proper #6, an #8, #10, #72, #99, #72828, a mix of the 6. Let’s just all CHILL THE FUCK OUT FOR A MINUTE.

Bearing in mind as well a lot were growing adamant we were done..

Klopp has been after this lad since the start of the transfer window. Maybe the Lavia dicking around was because we were getting info that Bayern could be tempted to sell.
...and manged to get Chelsea to piss a lot more Chav cash down the toilet.

Well, in dutch "G" is pronounced with that ch-sound one makes before spitting.
So it's more like the Spanish "J" in Jesus and I don't mean like "Hey-sus".

CHraFenberch.

I hope he helps us get back on the Graven perch.
The way to make a Dutch g should is to make the sounds of a lower case k and h at the same time. Also the end ch is a k 😉

Do lower case k & h sound different to upper case K & H?

Anyways ... Gravy Boat it is then

Mac Allister £35M
Szobozslai £60M (ish?)
Endo £16.2M
Gravenberch £34.5M

£138M in total

balanced against £52M incoming from Hendo & Fabhino
We might get some more cash if Solanke moves from Bournemouth.

Just put a tiny bit of cinnamon powder in your mouth every time you want to say “Gravenberch” and your pronunciation will be spot on 🙂

He’s won about 65% of his aerial duels.

Funny that the senior players we've sold or released this summer have all been midfielders and the players we've signed are all midfielders too.
