Champions League group stage match, can't remember against whom. He was playing well, think he maybe hit the post with a shot but accidentally poked an opponent in the eye with an outstretched finger while trying to ride a tackle.
Somewhat harsh card and that derailed the Super Laser Project for good. Never looked like doing much after that.

I think it would be fairer to "didn't look like he belonged in the 4-3-3 set up of a struggling team" ... that being said, he's moving in the right direction and hopefully this is the start of a long, trophy laden career.
Yeah, I really think it was a tough time for any player to settle in but he looks to have found his footing.
