Good pick that - surprised he's still available at this stage, especially when you consider Downing being taken ahead of him (sorry count). Not a stellar, exciting player, but definitely a reliable, steady one. Nice six; though IMO there's still a better pick available that should've been taken over A. Johnson. I'm surprised that player's still around at this stage.
With Skrtel and Walker, I like your team overall; looking well-balanced and sound.

If ye bums want to nominate a time where everyone is on for the a 12 hour period I'd be there. Ijust can't be f*cked checking in the middle of the night in the off chance people have picked.

No, I didn't think about the fact that I would be 39th to pick after I picked the first player. Fecked that one up.
I dunno, getting the 20th and 21st best players can be better than the 1st and 40th. Liverpool tend to be like the latter. I would pick differently if I were to do it again, but I'd prefer to be picking later too. Somewhere around the middle could be ideal.

Not necessarily. There are various rungs of players in the league. A top rung of 5-10 world class players, a second rung of 20 odd excellent but not elite players, and so on and so forth in the rungs below.
Being able to pick two players in the generally excellent second rung is probably better than picking one player in outstanding first rung, and one in the not so great third or fourth rung.
