Right tired of depressing politics, World Cup is coming.

Capello names the 30 man squad on Tuesday then cuts it to 23.

Have a go at the 30 and then chop 7.

What Capello will do not what you would do.

Go....

That's such a mega fucking talented group of players.

They'll still probably go out in the Quarter finals to some shit cunt average joes.

Is there an actual correlation between performing to a high standard in the best league in the world and then performing well over the course of a month at the biggest footballing tournament in the world?

All it should take is a handful of them to play to their highest standard with the rest playing at a level which their all capable of for that squad to give it a good old go.

I've no idea. But you'd think a team full of form players would be better than one which has Rooney who is struggling with an ankle injury, Ferdinand who has played less games this season than the perma-crocked Ledley King, John Terry who looks so so ordinary, Ashley Cole just coming back from a bad injury, Johnson coming back from injury, Gerrard who has been insipid at times this season etc etc.

I could go on, but the point is England are limping into this tournament.

Owen Hargreaves has been mentioned.

I would't call Brazil or Portugal "shit cunt average joes".

But, yeah, quarter-finals is probably it for Ingurlund.

Sky teletext is reporting that Carragher is going to make an international comeback.

surely Lennon will be in there.

I personally hope Carra is not in there, the last thing I need to here England fans booing him in the pub

I don't understand why any adult would ever 'boo', but surely no England player will be 'boo'ed' during a world cup?

Zlatan, out of your 7 midfielders.

1 - He'll take more than that.
2 - Only 3 of them have any experience whatsoever of playing for England
3 - 2 of them have never played for England before, ever
and 4 - Lots of other stuff too.

Interesting that everyone (that has made a list) has included Joe Cole but, The Mirror say he's out.

He might come in for the say surprise factor, but if he takes 4 wingers they're likely to be Milner, Lennon, SWP, and one of Johnson/Young/Cole.

Parker
Milner
Ashley Young
Huddlestone

1. Thats 8 midfielders not 7
2. It doesnt matter about the experience, the players i choose were all good for their respective teams throughout the season, besides joe cole and gerrard + capello said he will choose based on form
3. Walcott aged 16 got thrown in at the last world cup so anything is possible
4.
CM - Gerrard (can play wing), Lampard, Huddlestone (also CB option), Parker
RW/LW - Joe Cole(can play off the strikers also), Milner, Young, Johnson

5. If barry is fit, he should drop ledley king.. then it makes for 9 midfielders

These are plenty of options as most likely 4 or 5 midfielders, there for capello has enough replacements if injury or anything occurs.

SWP and Lennon have hardly played this season due to injury and not being picked. So why do they deserve to be in the team ahead of other players who havent played in the england team but have been on form and been playing week in week out?
