Have to admit I have more respect for the cunt each season for the following reasons:

  • [li]Over the past 5-6 seasons, he has consistently had his team performing in the league well above their class. With the talent (or lack thereof) that they start each season with, they should not have finished in the top half of the table any season in the past 6 years. In fact, this is proven whenever they get into Europe and are immediately erased because they simply do not belong at that level[/li]
[li]He has a good eye for under-valued players - Cahill, Saha, Fellani, Piennar, Baines, Donovan, Lescott, Arteta, Jagielja, Heitinga, even Phil Neville. They are not world-beaters, but consitently do a job.[/li]
[li]Most team that over-perform in the premier league do so by being ultra-physical and bullying their way to success i.e. Bolton (in past seasons), Stoke, Birmingham. Everton can play a physical game, but their football is generally not ugly. They are completely out-footballing Man City today.[/li]
[li]Every season his teams have had a horrible period filled with injuries and poor play, but they always claw their way back into the frame without a whole lot of fuss. I wish we had that ability. When we are playing poorly, we really struggle to right the ship, all the players talk endlessly to the media, and it seems the team is a whole set of different factions - maybe just the nature of a bigger club with bigger players [/li]

Not sure how Moyes would do with real resources, but hats off to him for the job he has done. I just hope we can keep our noses in front of them and that Moyes never moves down the road to the Scum because I suspect he would be very successful there.

He's the best manager Everton ever likely to get. Credit to them for sticking by him even when Everton were threatened with relegation.

Cunt though, obv.

Sack Rafa & Bring in Moyes?
Would never happen, of course, but I can imagine much worse scenarios, to be honest.

Get that thought out of your head!

The only thing worse than Moyes managing us, is Moyes raping your Grand mother.

Jesus!

Someone else sent me this:

Everton's net spend under Gollum has been £14.75m per season

Rafa's net spend per season has been £16.25m

If only Moyes had that extra £1.5m he'd be a European Cup and an FA Cup better off eh...

That can't be true can it mate?

Who's he ever signed for a decent amount? I can only think of Yakubu, Johnson and Fellini.

And he has sold Rooney and Lescott for close to £50M profit

Rooney came through the academy, Moyes didn't sign him..he was always gonna fetch a huge 20m+ fee from a top club due to his undoubted quality.

Besides that I do think he's done very well, he's been hit off with a few injuries down the years and still managed to get Everton playing with solidarity and cohesion (to a lesser extent this season).

He'd scare half our Continental lads away as soon as he walked into the dressing room.
Where's a pen for him to sign with?!?!?!

Only if he scares the right half away! Anyone, but Pepe and Torres would be fine.
