City Charged By Premier League

Hope they get nailed over this, but in all likelihood, they'll hire top lawyers and the PL will shit it's pants.

Also City contacting Real Madrid and Juventus to buddy up with the SuperLeague as a threat to the Premier League incoming (although FSG cant talk about that one lol)

Im lubed up again. It’s grown to 421 pages.

[article]This campaign is being driven by the Hateful 8 (9).

I'd be surprised if the PL had the resources (or appetite) to pursue this independantly.

This is going to go into years of technical accounting and legal arguments during which our enemies will keep hammering the message of curruption at City.
It will end up settled (as these things do typically) but in the meantime they will have 3 or 4 more years of devaluing the clubs acheivements in their media.

Lets be clear about this, there has probably been a fair bit of creative accounting going on as there is in all large businesses, and the same type of thing will have been going on at all the PL clubs in the same way.

The aim of the H8 is to keep the story rolling on the basis that some shit sticks along the way.

The people running the PL are not interested in competion or fairness. The thing is run by and for the benefit of a cartel of clubs, we see it every week in the refereeing. Even yesterday it was there (even if we were a bit shit), every 50/50 tackle we won was a foul.

If they manage to derail City they might as well just rename the PL the WWPL and be done with it.

The smaller clubs are pathetic. Buying into this shit hoping to get a few scraps off the table when order is restored and Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal etc are back in their "rightful" place at the top of the table.

The PL is currupt all right, but isn't City that are the real criminals, whatever the outcome of this bollocks.

The PL has been infiltrated by Americans and they won't stop until the game has been repackaged to suit US interests. Its only a matter of time.
[/article]

[article]I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a lot of shit to throw ourselves for when the time was right. This league and the other clubs in it won’t be squeaky clean that’s for sure
[/article]

[article]We were found guilty by UEFA, and CAS said no we weren't.
I fully expect the 'Independent' commission appointed by the EPL (chosen by the Red Shirts) to find us guilty. Let's see what happens when we are back in front of the CAS.
[/article]

[article]The club could get its titles stripped, relegated to league 2, have a 5 year transfer ban, and some of you would still claim they're just biding their time to unleash a trove of kompromat at the right time.
[/article]

[article]Today is my 40th what a lovely present!
[/article]

[article]A Premier League investigation ran by the Premier League (which is basically all the other teams) against a team that has dominated the said league. Hmm seems completely legitimate
[/article]

[article]Today is my 50th, it's fucking shite
[/article]

[article]
Hmm, just as we need a squad overhaul.

Coincidence I’m sure.

[/article]

[article]It’s just so fucking tedious.

What’s the crime? Breaking up the little clubhouse the cunts have made?

I really, really hope city go nuclear some how, have some weapon up their selves to make these fuckers pay.
[/article]

[article]
I'm sick if the shit that goes along with the football these days too... I'd give up my season card and focus on golf if I wasn't so shite at it

[/article]

[article]As strange as it sounds, if we are stripped of titles it will be some form of relief because I could finally switch off from football for good. Fed up of the emotional investment. I'm in my mid-thirties; self-induced stress over a football game isn't needed.
[/article]

[article]I think the timing of this tells you all you need to know. The fact that a few days ago the government says that a new independent person is going to be put in charge of it all. This is going to take years to complete and it will cost the Premier millions in legal fees. They might regret trying this on with an opponent with very deep pockets
[/article]

[article]Obviously we are the only club in England who use “creative” accounting - I think we should be banned from everything, stripped of everything and Pep n Khaldoon made to walk the walk of shame naked through every city in England and then both of them should be deported to Albania. Oh and change our name to Little Manchester City so we never forget our place again.
[/article]

[article]Simon Jordan has just collapsed and is hyperventilating. They’re trying to bring him around so he can do the show tomorrow morning.
[/article]

[article]Take it to the high Court and take this rotten to the core organisation down City.
[/article]

[article]Didnt our chairman imply we had documents on other clubs ? If so now might be the time to expose them
[/article]

There's no way he doesn't know what's happening here ...

FoSHTuPXwAA8FOo
I think he knew and said this for his get out clause if shit hit the fan down the road

Well time to unlock the vault with all the shit we have amassed over the years about other clubs, and pigmol, and the prem league. If you wanna fight over ethics , illegal payments , financial irregularities etc you better be squeaky clean yourself . Let's take down this corrupt league once and for all.

this one in particular, the villains will somehow free us from corruption

They'll be fined and told not to do it again. I'd love for their titles to be stripped, but the Premier league is a hugely shithouse organisation. Big fine, suspended other punishments.
No way PL will strip them of any titles as it would open up a legal case for teams to sue for lost earnings.

I hope Man City have all their taxes in order - it would be a shame if HRMC were to pile in on this as well.

I hope they paid the appropriate tax on those alleged “secret payments”.

Losing earnings they artificially inflated? If they don’t give us the titles we should sue for loss of earnings.

Seems vaguely like the West Ham v Sheffield United tevez thing. A breach of premier league rules but the case was between the 2 clubs with West Ham having to pay up in the end. A precedent of sorts?

Do you think this will stymie any investment moves?

There will likely be more stringent regulations to prevent sports washing in my opinion.

It also opens up the case with Burnley and Leeds and their complaint to the Premier league about Everton.

Good - we can fuck both City & Everton off to the lower divisions forever.

Any chance we can fuck Chelsea and Man Utd off with them for financial cuntery as well?

So city fans actually admitting they are a sports washing club.....

[article].Our club and probably more importantly the owners Nation's reputation has been severely questioned, in Arabic culture that is serious sh1t.

You seriously think if it was so clear cut we would not have cooperated totally? [/article]

I think I’ve come up with a fair punishment. This should also include an investigation into the seasons after 2018 to see whether any further breach have occurred.

- forfeit of every trophy win during the period with trophies represented to runners up.
- fine of £1m for every point gained in the League during the period, to be distributed amongst all clubs that played against them in the league based on amount of games played against Mancheatster Shitty.
- additional fine of 100% of all Premier League, FA Cup & League Cup prize money earned in the total period to be distributed to the FA & Premier League and used to fund grass roots initiatives.
- barred from playing in the Premier League, FA Cup & League Cup for 1 season for each season they committed an offence.
- Barred from signing any players or renewing any contracts of existing players for one season for every season they were found to have committed an offence.
- All current players to be allowed to leave on a free if they so desire.
- expulsion from the Premier League, in addition to the 3 teams expected to be relegated with a one-off play-off between the team finishing 17th in the Premier League & the losing Championship play-off finalist.
- Emptyiad stadium lease to be cancelled with immediate effect and where ever they are allowed to play games, no too ket charges for away fans for one season for every season they committed an offence.
- Shirt sponsorship to be cancelled with immediate effect to be replaced with the slogan “CHEATERS NEVER PROSPER” for one year for each season they have committed an offence.
- the lyrics of Hey Jude played before every game to be changed to :
“Hey Jurg, you’re right, we were bad.
We need a sad song where we’re a cheater.
Remember only when we’re sorry from our heart,
Then we can start to make it better.”

That’ll do for starters.

To be fair City have already handed back every trophy they won in Europe over the period of their cheating - to their credit.

I would 100% celebrate any retrospective titles, as they are a result of amassing the highest points total without breaking the rules of the league.

Stevie G winners medal? Sign me the fuck up - i'll be at that bus parade.

What we need now is for the PL to extend this past 2018 (which is obviously when this investigation started, looking backwards) as there are now 3 more titles in City's hands with the same problems surrounding them.

If the punishment is only forward looking and mostly financial then that is the worst possible outcome against a regime that is just printing money to win trophies and fame.

When Australian Rugby League team Melbourne Storm, who had dominated the game in Australia, were found to have breached salary cap regulations, they were stripped of the titles they won.

I don’t follow the sport closely enough or care whether the runners up got the titles.

It didn’t really stop Storm being very successful - but it’s also a closed league, so no relegation.

For me there have to be past and future consequences if they’re found guilty - otherwise, make it what it is - a business with no sporting integrity.

If they’re really smart, the Premier League have a chance to stop the league becoming the same as every other major league in Europe - dominated by 1 or 2 teams or just corrupt like Italy.

I’d love to see more teams with a realistic chance of winning the league, even if meant we didn’t.

The Premier League is wanting to prove the ability to self-regulate in light of the government wanting to impose an independent regulator. In that context it really makes no sense to issue a weak, slap on the wrist style punishment.

We'll have to wait and see what the independent commission concluded, but after a 4 year long investigation you would expect the case to be pretty damn tight, and without the absurd time limits imposed under the previous investigation Citys lawyers have far less room for maneuver.

There's some solid grounds for optimism.

I agree with most of what you say. Actually all. However, I don’t thing FA Cups and League Cups will be removed as the FA or EFL have been mentioned as part of the investigation. Just asterisk those “wins”.
