I’d give them two point deduction for each charge for each season it relates. Should they have a negative points total that rolls on to the following season.
As I read this, it basically endorses most of what Der Spiegel reported - artificial sponsorship deals, diversion of player and manager salaries (so basically inflating revenue and understating costs).
I suspect the limited periods over which the charges have been made are just the ones that they have investigated - this stuff could still be going on, the PL just hasn't looked at the later years yet (possibly because they have more evidence on the earlier ones so it's easier to make a case).
I share the cynicism that they'll throw expensive lawyers at it and most likely get away with it, BUT:
- the people involved in a 4-year investigation aren't going to give up easily
- (I've said this before) the PL need to (be seen to) do a proper job on this because you can bet the other teams in the league (possible exceptions of Newcastle and Chelsea) will want to see City punished and will be very vocal about it.
If we were to be awarded titles, which I'm sure we won't, I'd love our supporters to adopt the sign on song and sign about signing on for trophies just to really wind up the Mancs (all of them).
The welfare state: redistributing trophies from those who can afford to buy them to those who should have won them on merit.
This isnt likely to get sorted quickly is it? Probably drag on for months/years, so no immediate impact on City

The owner of Man City is the Deputy President of the UAE and his brother is the ruler of Abu Dhabi and the President of the UAE. Sunak, will tell the FA to make it go away. No points deduction, no repeal of titles, at most a few million in fines. Just remember the PPE scandal, the Tories helped their mates to tax payers money, and the only one investigating it is Carol Vorderman. The press with toe the line, and go very quiet. This isnt likely to get sorted quickly is it? Probably drag on for months/years, so no immediate impact on City
I think they'll just void themGonna say yes. If the PL have the balls to relegate City then they’ll probably strip them of their titles too.
Hahahaha as if anyone listens to Sunak. Everyone tells that yellow belly to fuck off.The owner of Man City is the Deputy President of the UAE and his brother is the ruler of Abu Dhabi and the President of the UAE. We aren't getting retrospective titles... In Italy didn't they just void those years rather than give titles to other teams? Those are just lost years unfortunately.

Make our shit go away? No, but we’d get the titles we deserved. For a moment lets say they strip man city of the titles, would it really make you forget the shit we're in?
What's happened to the PPE scandal? All hushed up now, time to move on, even though his buddy made 10s of millions from it. The Government is filed with crooks - UAE is one of the UKs biggest investor and buyers of Range Rovers, Rolls, Bentley, Aston Martin etc... This is going no where, other than a slap on the wrist
In 2004-2005, Juve came first and AC Milan came second. Juve was stripped of the title. Since AC Milan was also implicated in the scandal, they decided not to offer the title to anyone.
In 2005-2006, Juve came first, Inter came second. Juve were stripped of the title which was awarded to Inter.
