Daniel Agger says he is not sure if his future lies with Liverpool FC – as the defender feels he has been snubbed by Reds boss Brendan Rodgers .
The 29-year-old didn’t make the cut in the matches against Chelsea and Manchester City, and told Danish media he refuses to be anyone’s “third choice”.
When asked whether he’ll be with Liverpool next season, Agger said last night: “I don’t know. That’s up to the manager. I can’t go and put myself on the team sheet.
“It definitely wasn’t great (to be left out of the games against Chelsea and Manchester City), but I don’t make the decisions.
“I think it is because the manager doesn’t think that I’m good enough.”

But Agger will remain focused on his international duties for the time being.
“I’m not thinking about my future,” he said.
“Now my focus is on the next international games with Denmark and then I’m looking forward to a long five-week holiday. My body and mind needs to relax.”

While I do love these 'My daddy is bigger than yours' debates, we didn't lose to Chelsea because of our defense! We lost because we couldn't score on any of the chances we created in the first 30 minutes ... Agger (or Kompany or Hummels etc) would have done anything to stop Demba Ba or Willian's goals ....

The thing is from my point of view I can say that your championing of Sakho lost us the title because that's the route we took. However you can't say that I'm wrong about Agger because you can't disprove it.

Ha - explain to me how Sakho cost us the title against Chelsea? Since he didn't, than Agger's addition wouldn't have won us the league as we still needed a massive goal glut against Palace to have any chance ...

I have Man U and Chelsea supporting friends and they all were saiying the same thing, what the fuck is Agger doing on the bench?
When I told my brother that you folks were saying that Sakho was a better passer and was better at controlling the ball than Agger my brother actually started laughing.

By the same argument I can state categorically that Agger would have cost us 18 goals against Chelsea and 15 against Palace and you can't disprove it.

I do rate Agger, but not as highly as you it seems.

Sakho % wise may be a better passer than Agger (I don't know - @King Binny?). I didn't say he was better at controlling, and I don't know who did.
