Modo is allowed to think that. He's probably very wrong, but we don't know definitely that he is.

Personally, I think agger coming in would have led to goals by being beaten in the air, because he is weaker than Sakho and Skrtel at aerial defence.

Or someone with snail pace would have burned him off, like soldado did

There's a chance though and the stats also support my claims. The warning signs were there after the Norwich game.

But we could play the game again in hypothetical land with the exact same team and Gerrard probably won't slip this time.

We don't live in a Sci fi world where we can plant Agger in for Sakho and the exact same occurrences happen. It could end up being a totally different game. Your claims that we would have won the league if Agger played is simply speculation and guess work. It's also a very simplistic assertion. It's like something a naive kid would say.

Have you never seen the Butterfly Effect? 😉

The thing is from my point of view I can say that your championing of Sakho lost us the title because that's the route we took. However you can't say that I'm wrong about Agger because you can't disprove it.
Sure I could be wrong but you can never really be sure.

Translation: I'm just winding you up.

Has this place really got so rubbish - Quick @athensruairi come to the rescue and post a pic that depicts what Modo is behaving like.

Hasn't he had a moan before when he wasn't automatically in the team? The correct attitude is to play your back into the side, if you can't be arsed you know where the door is.

I think Rodgers like a bit of competition for positions, if you aren't compatible with that you're gonna have a bad time.

You've absolutely got a point. Sure it's guess work but that was the option before the game. We could have won the game, drawn or even lost by an even bigger margin. We will never know.

We could be looking at an attempt to control the narrative here by young Daniel. He could know full well he's being offloaded and is trying to turn things round to say that he's the one prompting a move as he's not willing to be third choice.

Modo, brother, this place would not be the same without you, but could you please give the agger threads miss for a while. Its getting tedious all this argueing. We know your views. Please skip 'em. I say this with respect.

Yeah those stats prove that Sakho is better at passing and Agger is better in the air, maybe he should have played against West Ham? (but he was injured)

That kind of thinking pretty much lost us the title so well done to you.

How? When the same players that cost us the title got us there in the first place? They all played their part and they all fucked up, Agger included.

You can't take a handful of games and say it typifies Agger's form, because it doesn't, he still gets injured a fair bit and that's how he usually loses his place, he's also looked a shadow of his previous self at times this season, looking sluggish and flat footed, yet he plays well in the last game of the season and you can't wait to go overboard - "Bam! Back with a goal, look what we've missed" blah blah. As people often rightfully point out, his reputation gets bigged up more when he's out the side, than when he's in it.

Contrast his attitude when he's out the side, to that of Skrtel (or a few others I might add). He does this shit everytime, instead of just rolling his sleeves up and getting on with it - a bit annoying really considering it's usually his own injuries or shit form that sees him lose his place.

He could show determination to prove himself preseason and make it impossible for Rodgers to overlook him, but no...

Stop being a silly cunt.

You can't prove it so it's just an opinion fostered by you which, as usual, you stick to and shove down people's throat until they're sick of you. Then you sit back and claim to be victimised. Take a long hard look at yourself over this.

Or did what you usually do and arrogantly state why everyone else is wrong. Yeah you're victimised alright.

If he could even just do the first sentence I'd be happy.
