Well, not the happiest of outcomes but to be honest this game made me waaaaaaay more positive than I’ve been during preseason. We looked very very good in the second half against the champions. We were much better than them.
If the ref wasn’t a wanker. If Salah could score 1 in 300 chances. Etc.

Yeah, both Alisson and Trent seem the players that are mostly effected by pre season and being off form.
Encouraging from Salah so early in the season and Gomez was brilliant in the 2nd half.

No it got awarded Harry Kane after his won his claim

That was a foul by walker on origi for the play that lead to a 1 on 1 with sterling and Alison right? Looked like walker went through the back of origi.

Also, good thinking by Virgil for getting in between the 2 players so a 2 on 1 was no longer possible, leaving sterling not knowing what to do and the ball rolling into Alison's hands.
