I watched that Arsenal game. Really really disappointing performance from Bendtner (whom I usually don't mind actually). I lost count how many times he gave the ball away, got brushed off it, or broke down promising moves.
They should be a better side with him as the focal point of that attack, and occassionaly they are, but at that level he's got to do more than tonight's effort.

As for your comments on him earlier Ryan I agree wholeheartedly. Games like last night is the ones where he needs to step up and he was just as invisible as Huntelaar was for AC Milan really. To be fair a lot of the Arse-players didn't play to their best and he didn't get that much to work with but he was still way below par.
I can't see him get that many chances before he'll be shipped to the wing again or dropped (when Van Persie is back at least) if he doesn't start to put his game where his mouth is.

I've always thought he looked a great player - and I still think he does, when going forward at least - but his showings against United in particular where downright abysmal. He was a shambles defensively and even made sure a few of Uniteds not-so-world-class-players looked, well, world class.
