I've always thought he looked a great player - and I still think he does, when going forward at least - but his showings against United in particular where downright abysmal. He was a shambles defensively and even made sure a few of Uniteds not-so-world-class-players looked, well, world class.

Agree, Clichy was alot better a few years ago that's for sure. One of Arsenal's best and most consistent players but this season it seems teams are targetting him.
I seem to remember him having a few injuries so maybe that's the reason behind his dip in form.
Btw, i still reckon Arsenal will turn Porto over in the 2nd leg but it could well be a nervy night for them.
