Cardiff (A)

They'll come at us full on as they're desperate for the points and are home. We'll eat them up on the break. We'll be up for this too as we're in with a chance of the league, so the motivation is there, but we have way too much for them. We'll who this and well. We just beat United away and some folk are worrying about Cardiff? I know it's not a given, but if there was ever a time to be optimistic its now.

I think I said prior to the Southampton game that we would win it and the one at Old Trafford but drop points against Cardiff.
I hope I ain't turning into some sort of clairvoyant 🙁
And I said at the time that I'd take that. I've changed my mind.

Coutinho in for Allen. He has been one of the mainstays of our rise so don't forget it just because Allen has a couple of excellent games ! We will need his ability to draw defenders to him and his creativity to break down a stubborn defence. There is no way in the world Cardiff are going to come out all guns blazing.

I'd like to see Sakho in for Agger but TBH that may be a bit harsh (yeah and I know that goes for Allen too but it's not exactly like for like).

We'll mallet 'em. Another nail in their owner's footballing management coffin. 0-4.

Well that's their job. I'm just afraid that especially Suarez and Sturridge will start thinking about their goal records.

When has Suarez showed that he's a 'records' player over a team player? Sturridge for that matter doesn't seem to be that kind of player either.

It really depends on how Cardiff plays. If they are going to pack their defence then Coutinho should play. Who, at the expense of, I dont know.

This is correct. Maybe we should test a Sterling and Coutinho combo with Hendo and Gerrard sitting centrally.

There've been immense together this season but like I said before it's about how they approach this game against a so called "lesser" team. They both have a tendency to be selfish, right? Remember how livid Suarez was when he didn't get that pass from Sturridge in the game against Everton.

That's what you're basing this on? It's fine mate ... The goal of the team is there - I sincerely doubt 'personal goals' are what will motivate them in the last 9 games (esp Suarez ... remember Ghana)

I'm just speculating, I'll most likely be wrong about this, it's just a scary feeling I have.

Anyone can see that Suarez this season is a team player. Worrying about how the SAS approach the games is the least of our concern.

Image Rights Violation ? Copyright Breach ? Damn you're right, I never thought of that.

Just think it's an awful moniker. I hated it when it was applied to Shearer and Sutton, and I hate it now. It's the kind of thing Lovejoy would have come up with on Soccer AM before sitting back smugly and folding his arms like he'd split the fucking atom.

The trouble for Cardiff is they first need to work out how not to lose, which will involve trying to shore up the midfield, and that will make them less likely to score. I think we will make hard work of it but will find a goal in the first half, then storm the start of the second half.

Can't see us losing.

Lets also not forget that Brendan and Allen are both ex Swansea and will want to send these fuckers DOWN!

Calling them the SAS is a major concern for me.
A 'major' concern? Come on man - Grow a pair. The kids love shit like this. I'm talking to you as well @Spionkop69 - Having our strike force being called the SAS is akin to having Han Solo and Batman up top. You remember what it was like following Liverpool as an 11 yr old right? I do and it was fucking boss! SAS baby! 😎

Interesting fact:
Agger has played 90 minutes in only 10 matches this season, 7 of them leading to clean sheets. As a team we have 9 clean sheets in 29.

Stolen from RAWK

Its an incredible stat really as I'm still sure Sakho is the better defender and Sakho and Skrtel are my preferred choice, however stats dont lie, and whilst they're keeping clean sheets, they stay together.
