Yeah but when we play Henderson we still play Fabinho, and Gini or Milner. That's the problem. It seems that when Henderson is dropped a more attacking player comes in and the balance is much better

I agree. Fab looks so good in there we don't need another sitting midfielder. It's like when we had Didi or Mascherano. Play them in front of back four then let the others crack on.

Wijnaldum has been far more consistent this season, yes. Perhaps the aforementioned changes in playing squad, options and situation have been a factor here, too.

And I'm not sure he'd even be in a position to show that if the Fekir transfer had been successful and/or Keita hadn't been shite, because nobody was talking about Wijnaldum being a central, important player in our remodelled midfield at the start of summer.
