Who in the name of high school football is Paddy. Anyway if he's a legend I'm him, if not I'm not.
He was a guy who did a really cunty thing, and then came back on the site under a different guise and now several people assume the latest new member could be Paddy, and if he was they'd call him a cunt, or something.

Anyway, welcome to the site.

I like the letter Brendan has written to the fans who travelled to Belarus.
Nice gesture.

It is gay. But I'd probably be just as gay if I was him. Probably even more gay. I might even have a little cry and want to cuddle everyone dead hard in the bogs.

Dear Supporter,

I want to say a sincere thank-you for making the effort to come to Gomel last night to support us in our first competitive match of the season.

The players and I are fully aware of the trials and tribulations surrounding travel for games; in particular, the costs, the necessity for visas and the transportation issues involved with this trip, so we wanted to let you know that your efforts are greatly appreciated.

It was a privilege to acknowledge your support on the evening at the ground, as we did following the full-time whistle, but I wanted to reiterate our thanks with this brief message.

It was a special night for me personally and it was great to see you in the stadium and in great voice; you made me proud and you made the players proud. You are an integral part of this team.

Both last night in Belarus and on the club's tour to North America, I am continually humbled by the passion and commitment you show in supporting the team. We will never take you for granted.

I look forward to seeing and hearing you across the continent and at home as we progress through this competition.

Thank you again.

You'll Never Walk Alone

Brendan

I am sure I heard " The fields of Anfield road" late in the second half.
Respect to the fans who travelled over for the game and made themselves heard in that atmosphere..

I know a dude who hasn't missed a game in twenty odd years. He's a really nice guy but that is some sort of personality disorder.

Yes, skully is the cloud to every silver lining. In fact he's also the silver lining on our away shirts. Nice note by Brendan. Welcome Eric, the site will go up a level in content once the season kicks in

twenty years without the title, and must have gone without food, beer and shoes for the cost of watching the team play.

Aren't Skully & Count having some sort of affair, giving each other blood arseholes or something?

This dude (Sunny's met him a couple of times now though I didn't tell him about his unbroken stint) flew straight from Boston to Belarus and will be watching the reserves or under 19s or something at Scunthorpe or wherever they are today. I'd be tempted to go all Eternal Sunshine and have football programmed out of me if it got to that stage.

All while he was kicking my ass at scrabble.

Legend.

If Dalglish wrote that letter last year the usual suspects would be slating him already.
