I don't think you can put a time spell on it. Some degree of patience is needed, if we're winning games and losing a few games here and there.
If we struggle like we did under Woy then it'll be interesting to see how much our patience is allowed to stretch. I think the most important thing to see, and what was lacking with Woy and for alot of last season with Kenny, is a cohesive style, a fairly settled lineup and an inkling that we have some direction, if that's the case it's easier for people to see what we're 'trying' to do, to see where we're heading. That's probably the most important aspect, but it will take time no doubt.

My issue with this 'give them time' thing is always that they WILL be afforded time providing they dont do fucking ridiculous things.
Mr Rodgers initial press conferences were bold and striking and it felt like i could trust him.
Since then hes been almost synonymous.

Im not sure given what ive seen so far that im going to be affording this smart arse all that much time before i go ape shit.

He won't get much time, unless he shows some progress. Even if we are all more patient than usual. That is guaranteed, because of media pressure. The owners have gone for an adventurous path, that is certain. The missing piece, it seems is, how much they will fund this path.

i want to believe in him but sadly i can't help but be cautious after what's gone before . His hands might be tied to an extent in regards to these players perhaps wanting out but if some are being sold to generate funds then it better fucking work or he'll find himself under pressure very quickly .
And i won't lie , his comments about it taking time for us to get playing like swansea and other similar references niggle a little. We're not fucking swansea , we're liverpool and they weren't even that fucking good anyway . As i said , it's probably more to do with concern over what's gone before but i hope he gets it and realises this is a whole different standard and level of expectation . I don't want another hodgson .
