Anyway, who do you think was our best player to head the ball? I'm thinking it's either Luis, for goals like that one against Anderlecht which was fucking amazing, or Sami who scored goals and made some vital interceptions at the back.

In fact other than Torres, i'm struggling to think of many in our squad who are any good at headering.

Thoughts?

The question says "who was our best header" so I'm assuming it means "best ever". Defensively they don't come any better than Sami. Probably the best attacking header of a ball I've ever seen in a Liverpool shirt was Toshack, and actually his oppo Keegan was excellent in the air too for a little fella. A bit more recently, Karlheinz Riedle was a very good header of the ball indeed, though he came at a bad time and was just one of a number of good players who didn't fulfil their potential with us under Roy the First. Generally speaking, though, Liverpool teams have attacked on the deck rather than through the air.
