Well we were lucky that we had Owen and Fowler for several years too, Torres and Suarez are two of the greatest strikers to grace the Premiership, Heskey was unplayable for 2 seasons, Collymore had a great season but was a mentalist. Crouch, Kuyt, Riedle, Camara and Bellamy were good, modest buys too. Benteke, Carroll, Diouf and Cisse were poor though. And expensive.
There's also Dean Saunders, Nigel Clough and Fernando Morientes, who you would put in the flop category.
I liked Crouch, Kuyt, Riedle, Camara and Bellamy but if Klopp spent a huge fortune and bought a striker of their class, I don't think it will solve our problem of having to rely on Sturridge.
We were so incredibly lucky to have Fowler and Owen, weren't we?
