Just a few observations:
1. The mood on here is weirdly subdued and negative considering WE'VE JUST BEATEN ARSENAL AWAY 2-0 IN OUR SECOND GAME OF THE SEASON. Fucking hell, people, you're allowed to celebrate a little!
2. Last week, we played some lovely football, should have won easily, and ended up with a draw; that was depressing. This week, we played solid disciplined but unexciting football, and *won*. I'll take winning football any fucking day over the pretty-but-winless stuff. Personally, I think it's hugely encouraging that we can play within ourselves and BEAT ARSENAL AWAY.
3. It's true that we looked miles better when Ming and Suarez came on, and personally I do rate them higher than Kuyt and Carroll, but it shouldn't be forgotten that they came on when Arsenal went down to ten men. Therefore there was much more space out there for them to work their magic. All in all, it was a brilliantly timed double-substitution.
4. WE WON!
