Fuck it. I'm posting it again.

Keep or perfect time to sell?

There are rumours he's being offered a new deal. Like I said in one of the other threads, I'm not sure him or Henderson are assured of much under Klopp in the longterm, but I'd like to see them both stay as squad players, at least for now.

Allen's form this year has been impressive and he has the perfect attitude, despite having to repeatedly be patient for a chance, he has come good, to some degree and, maybe I'm reading too much into Klopp's affections, but they seem to have a really good relationship. I hope that means that Klopp sees something in him.

I voted sell, but he's like a mini version of Can I guess.
Klopp likes Allen's work rate and his goal today was all work rate.

I'm not sure that Allen would be content with a bench role but leaving Liverpool would pretty much end any chance of winning anything in his career.

Leaning towards keep. His form has been reasonably impressive this year.

That said, if we sign some genuine quality in the CM positions then I wouldn't be arsed to see him go.

Keep. He's a quality player and probably won't wxpect massive wages. However, if he wants to be one of the first on the team sheet, he may be disappointed, in which case I wouldn't be aversed to letting him go as I'm expecting some quality in during the summer.

He's had some very good performances over a long periode of time now. I think he deserves a new contract.

I'd love to see him stay. Intelligent player, doesn't moan or sulk when not selected and looks fully comfortable in a Liverpool shirt now.

Sadly, I think he'll probably move on and it could well be at his request. He's 26 now so you can't really blame him for looking guaranteed games elsewhere.

One of those 'squad players' every title winning sides need.

Someone who is happy to sit on the bench for the most part but when he does play, he plays well and contributes.

I think keeping him wouldn't be the worst idea but if we sold him I wouldn't be upset.

We need players like him in the squad, keep him (if he wants to stay and be rotated) unless an offer too good to turn down comes in.

Good squad player as many mentioned. I would think he is not on high wages. One thing I noticed is although he gets stuck in quite alot, he doesn't get many yellows. He's always willing and always ready and running, I'll say keep.

He's exactly the calibre of squad player we need, not good enough or selfish enough to kick up a strop when hes not playing, but good enough to be an asset when he does. 100% keep, if we make the champions league next season we'll have more than enough games for him to play in.

Depends on what noises he is making to Klopp. If he wants more starts - then it is the right time to sell. If he is happy with bench appearances and the odd start in cups then great - he seems able to play to a high quality straight from a run of limited game time.

I suspect Brendan will want to sign him again when he ( Brendan) becomes manager at Swansea.

That does seem to be a logical move, if Allen decides that playing every week is more important than the prospect of winning trophies, Rodgers is very obviously a big fan, and they liked him there.

I'm not sure why, but Allen strikes me as the sort of player who just wants to play.

Lucas is a better back up than Allen?

Lucas is good squad option as he never complains and we won’t get much money for him - 6-8 million was the talk last summer.

The British premium could mean we get close to our money back for Allen if we are smart.

It would have to be very smart indeed, if we were to get £15m for Joe Allen, with only one year left on his contract.
