No. It really isn't.
I thought you would of realised I'm just pissing with yer. Tsk.

First Spaghetti Legs and then Leo.I assumed it was why Spaggy Legs was banned. He was terrible for it.
Best stop taking the piss with that 3 dots nonsense then.First Spaghetti Legs and then Leo.
It's becoming a trend...
Or sticky this: -Sigh.
Mods, how about as a compromise, you use your fancy filter to auto convert "could of" and "would of" and "might of" and any other fucking modal auxiliary verbs you can think of that jono might struggle with?
If we're getting banned for poor grammar and general English, i'd have been gone 8 years ago.I assumed it was why Spaggy Legs was banned. He was terrible for it.
But, but....Best stop taking the piss with that 3 dots nonsense then.
Ibe is coming through in that position also.
Coutinho can do a job there too.
I'd have no problem getting him on loan in January but wouldn't be spending another 20 million for that position again.
I'd rather a more versatile player who can be used up top.
Reus is probably the one that would suit us best but that's obviously never going to happen. We have a fair few players that can do a job but none of them have proven to be particularly effective, which brings me back to my first point - the necessity to run Sterling into the ground. He is the only that has got everything we need in a forward right now.
To be honest I think we're only disagreeing on the type of player Shaqiri is or can be. I want us to bring a forward that is perhaps more of a striker than an attacker but the truth is we need two players in attack and the reality is that there aren't many versatile strikers who have all the qualities we want knocking about (regardless of price).
Sanchez who many saw as the best replacement for Suarez has never really played a striker at club level. I believe he was a winger at Udinese and at Barca a wide forward.
The problem is that we want the full package in attack - someone that will work, create and score goals - and those type of players generally play or start off playing out wide or deeper.
The key thing is to bring in someone who can score goals within our system. Shaqiri on paper at least looks like he fits, no?
Yes, it is.Reus is probably the one that would suit us best but that's obviously never going to happen.
Whaau smokingYes, it is.
The truth.Whaau smoking
I might of, if I could.. though I'm not so sure if I should of, would you?

Because he doesn't press. After Rodger's recent comments absolving himself of responsibility for Balotelli, he'd need a very big set of balls to turn around and ask the owners for Shaqiri.

The "someone else" would arguably be Markovic, not Lallana (as many seem to assume). Lallana was heavily linked from the word go in the Summer, alongside Shaqiri.
Are you being serious or is this an attempted whoosh?
Shaquiri closes down as much as anybody playing at the moment. His constant movement is one of his biggest assets.
No shame in admitting you've never seen him play.Yes I suppose I was harsh.

Xherdan Shaqiri is Juve's top target for the January transfer window but the Italian club faces some stiff competition. Juventus has in fact offered Bayern Munich a deal that involves a loan, for which they would pay 3 million euro right away, plus a forced option to buy set at 12 million euro payable over 3 years, this option is tied to some team goals. But this isn't a formula that Bayern likes, but the bianconeri are a team Shaqiri wants to play for. There are two other teams pursuing the Swiss international, Inter and Liverpool. The nerazzurri would do a loan with option to buy set at 15 million, while Liverpool would do a straight purchase. There is a three team race for Shaqiri.
As we reported earlier today, there is a three team race for Shaqiri involving Liverpool, Juventus and Inter. The nerazzurri's interest in the Swiss international remains strong. They have offered Bayern Munich a loan deal with forced option to buy set at between 15 and 16 million euro. The Milano based club maybe willing to raise the offer since they are very interested in the player but they are also monitoring Podolski, Lavezzi and Salah's situations. Mancini wants some offensive wingers and Thohir is looking to grant his wish in January.
