I thought he returned to play for them again recently. There was a feature on it on Footie Focus, I think.
 
Id love Torres to break his leg this weekend, as Carroll starts and gets a hat-trick , it put an end to the same old tired debate.

Torres sulked, went shit and sold out, now he's gonna suffer the consequences. Carroll was overpriced, maybe a bit of a panic buy, has too much pressure and shit aimed at him and may not work out in the long run. It's that simple, get over it peeps.

They were banned or didn't qualify or something like that.

It's embarassing that the African football body banned them because they didn't play after the shooting, utterly embarassing and disgraceful.
 
I think torres is still underneath it all a great player however he has clearly lost his way and has not adpated to the repeated damage that his legs suffered while playing for Spain... he looks disillusioned. He is also a sell out and that wipes away any sympathy I would have had for him, I do find it sad that he used to be unbelievably good and now isnt but im pleased at the same time because thats exactly what he deserves.... the best thing about Torres is that he gave us Suarez.

Carroll has yet to show us anything at all of this potential people keep banging on about so we either bite the bullet and start playing him regularly and find out for sure if we were sold a monumentally expensive lemon or we go out and buy another good striker to compliment Suarez.

I think we should do both if we could, you need strikers. end of.

55M on Carroll and Downing looks like being the biggest transfer fuck up our club has ever made, other clubs have done similarly bad deals, Veron, that gypo striker at Arsenal, Torres.... but we couldnt afford to do it.

Does Adebayor play in the african nations soon?? i fucking hope so....

Torres was the most exciting Liverpool of the last 5 years without doubt, genuinely awesome in every sense...if he came back and played well and scored goals then im fine with that but i don't reckon he will nor can!

I also havent totally given up on Carroll yet....

My prefered option is some shit hot brazillian youngster who can do fucking banana shots form the half way line discovered by commolli before he'd actually kicked a ball in anger anywhere....

Devious plan.... how bout we offer man city 25M for Adebayor and nick the orrible wanker of Spurs?? Nobbling them in the process making us a shit load more dangerous.... man city reduce their debt and lose a closer competitor so they would go for it ....Adebayor may not of course but it would be an achievement to be hated by BOTH north London teams two birds one stone....

There was talk of that a few weeks ago.. I believe man city can cancel the loan deal with tottenham if the player has an agreed offer on the table to be bought..

No way tottenham would pay anyway near the wages he commands.. Neither would we tbh.. but probably would pay more than tottenham ever would..
