I just heard Igor Stimac critiscising Daniel Levy for refusing to let Modric leave as soon as an offer came in from Madrid!?
What the fuck. How are international managers allowed to critiscise clubs ownership of a player.
It reminds me of the Blatter slave comments.
Modric was happy to sign a deal paying him 50k a week at Spurs ao what business is it of Igor fucking Stimac how much Levy allows Modric to leave for.

Some day Stimac himself (if he becomes a half decent coach) will have to deal with a player refusing to play or demanding a transfer and lets see how he feels then.

I'm not sure I agree with the first post there. Clubs are often quick to comment on what's done at international level if it adversely affects them. Stimac would presumably say that what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Agree with your second post though.

I disagree JJ, because clubs pay players wages. Fortunes. They have a right to say if they arent happy, im not sure that national managers should have any say at all.

If Modric wasn't prepared to see out a contract then he shouldn't have signed one. It's not as if he had a gun to his head when he accepted the type of terms and conditions most people will only ever dream of. I'm with Oncey on this.

I understand where the coach is coming from. Croatia is a small proud nation and the people seem to dig in together. That doesn't make his contribution valid.

Not quite sure why he'd have an opinion on Modric being allowed to go to Madrid at all.

Modric has developed well at Spurs and was playing at a good level. If anything, the move to Real is a risk for him, as national manager, without too much in the way of potential benefits.

Bizarrely Ken his complaint is that Modric isnt fully fit. Why? Because he REFUSED TO RETURN TO TRAINING!!!
Levy the bastard to blame obv.

I know some Croatian dude and the way he was talking, the whole country are treating it as if he were a political prisoner at Spurs.

its hardly surprising. He's hardly going to take a dig at one of the biggest clubs in world football who now own one of his best players. But he shouldn't be makign a dig either way when its the plays fault.

Its hardly spurs fault for not wanting to sell at a piss take price, but Real didn't want to pay a piss take price.

Haggling is part and parcel of the game.

This croatian coach can do a proper fuck off .

National team managers can fuck right off out of all club business.

Clubs own & pay players wages. Countries get them for fuck all. They should take what they're given & be fucking grateful.

Wait until he's got a slight niggle, not released and kept back at RM. Tottenham to blame again probably

National managers suck fat balls, and probably preempting a bumming tonight
