You clearly haven't watched citeh. They're not 'playing disciplined', this isn't us with our measured approach, they have been struggling to break sides down. That won't happen again.. Guarantee it...
He has them playing disciplined.. Grinding out 1 nil wins rather than going gung ho, which they have been going most of the season..
They have champions elect written all over them..
Nah I'm being a realist...You clearly haven't watched citeh. They're not 'playing disciplined', this isn't us with our measured approach, they have been struggling to break sides down.
At the weekend they were SHITE. Seriously bad. They had tonnes of possession yet looked utterly toothless way worse than us. We played better this weekend than they did, they got a goal though, we didn't.
You're like chicken little at the moment, running about telling everyone the sky is falling.
But they got 3 points and continue to do so week in week out when it matters, that all that matters... we didn't. And struggle to do so week in week out at the moment..You clearly haven't watched citeh. Sides we have struggled against this season
Napoli (A) Lost
Red Star Belgrade (A) Lost
PSG (A) Lost
Chelsea (H) Lost
Chelsea (A) Drew
Arsenal (A) Drew
Man City (H) Drew
Man City (A) Lost
Wolves (A) Lost
Leicester (H) Drew
West Ham (A) Drew
Man UTD (A) Drew
Munich (H) Drew
Everton (A) Drew
It seems when we face tough opposition, particularly away from home we struggle to break them down.. The complete opposite of last season
I think in any cup competition alone we are yet to get a result away from home this season
Failed to Score on 6 occasions, 3 in the league..
Whereas city have failed to score on 3 occasions, twice in the league..
Against Ourselves and Chelsea..

Yep. That 'small margin' this season has been Salah not scoring good chances. This list also matches quite well to games in which Salah has failed to score

If he scores at even half his usual rate in almost every match we've faltered in then we would be top of the league by a few points.
I'd argue that's the fault of the side/manager not ensuring we score a more healthy amount from the rest of the side instead of being overly reliant on the front three.
That said, in any normal season this is more than enough to win the league, so perhaps that's harsh. Equally so when you consider a couple of seasons ago we were finishing 8th or something.
I always thought the best defensive team in the league would always win the title.
We are currently that, so I still hold out hope we can win it if we maintain our stability at the back.
Just gotta hope that with things to play for, such as Relegation/Europe, other teams will grow some balls and actually play to win against City, and not just play to survive.
Or like West Ham did midweek, just throw the game.
Chelsea at home who we have failed to beat this season after 2 attempts which included being beaten at home, with a strong side in the cup and Spurs who we have won 1 out of the last 3 and drawn against them at home last season..And, in the league, we have NO tough (top 6) away games left. And we've only lost once. To City. Whereas they've lost some real head-scratchers... And all we need is another 1-1 draw in Germany to be in the European Cup quarter finals...
But, we're obviously done for the season. Already. In early March.
Yeah that's a fair point, the problem I think is that everything rests on City slipping up and our attack clicking again. Neither seem that likely, the front three as a collective have spluttered through this season, despite reasonable goals tally's from Salah and Mane, all just doesn't seem well.
Its fine margins such as this that will decide the title..Yep. That 'small margin' this season has been Salah not scoring good chances.

This could easily be the first season when the team that finished 2nd has more than 90 points. Which is quite insane.
Oh they will.. easily..Somehow I don't think City will get 90 Points.
Great thing though, hindsight, innit? Given the fees we paid (rightly obv) for VVD and Alisson, plus the stellar scoring season Mo put in as well as the quality of other attacking players in the squad, on paper at least, I don't greatly blame Klopp and the club for deciding to tackle this season with what we had further forward. It's become clear that we do need to strengthen there though, even if we do win the title.
Somehow I don't think City will get 90 Points.
Fair to say we haven't looked as devastating in attack, and yeah, Salah has not performed at the same level (or scored as many goals), but I think "reasonable" is a bit harsh.
Salah has only one goal less than the current top scorer Aguero, and Mane is only behind Kane, Aubamalamadingdong, Salah and Aguero with 14 league goals.
That's a bit more than reasonable for those two.

Chelsea in fact the last time beat them at home was 2012
To discount they are not tough games is very 'red tinted glasses' view
Come on.. be realistic
Apologies I mis-quoted you..Where do I 'discount that they're not tough games'?
My post was in response to your post about our poor away form. I simply point out that we have no more top 6 away games left. Clearly.
In an earlier post, I said that we WILL have to be on top form to beat Spurs and Chelsea at home. Jesus, you're so desperate for us to be finished already that you're inventing things that I didn't say.
Don't look at me. I also think he's gone off the deep end with this.
Signed Jesus.
Apologies I mis-quoted you..
In still stand by my point though...
Chelsea will be the tougher of the two fixtures without a doubt
