the threat of the counter attack was definately there but if we are playing in a manner that is effectively negating all our attacking players then pushing higher up the pitch is worth the risk. we've held a high line against better opposition than wigan.

Bollocks. If we'd pushed up we'd have been done, because they threatened it time and time again Neil, I don't know what game you were watching, but they were getting in behind us when we were deep, so what would have they done if we'd been 5-10 feet further up the pitch?
For like the millionth time, we don't have the players for it all over the pitch, we have the players to play an effective, high energy game but we're not Barcelona.
