Old Liverpool would lose to Brighton but I expect us to smash them and get ahead of city for the first time in years!!

Wish I could do that.

A combination of a bad storm, a sick kid, a kid having night terrors & a wife out on the lash with her mate meant I got about an hours kip last night.

I'm going to town in about an hour. I'll be fucking blathered after an hour.

It's 1130pm here so a little easier 😀

Tell you what that Wolves side are superb

Their midfield is superb and more than held its own against City's. But there are still weak spots in that team – their only attacker I like is Jota. Costa is very wasteful, even though he has good technique and pace and Jimenez so far is kind of meh. Traore added a threat, but you can also see why the manager doesn't risk starting him yet. Neves and Moutinho should not be the main chance creators in the team; they need a good #10.

Although they have pace up front, they really lack pace in the midfield. There were so many 50/50 balls in midfield which they lost every time because Neves and Moutinho look like they're running through treacle. Both great players in terms of skills, but sooooo sloooow.

Wolves may or may not get some points here - but there's a lesson here for the rest of the PL - City for all their outrageous attacking depth, are vulnerable when attacked.

They will drop points this year if teams attack them.

Agreed. I have struggled to articulate my thoughts on this properly but i think KDB’s injury for this run against 6 weak sides is good for us in that it will encourage these teams to attack more than it might have done with him in the team.
