Just got back from the game. Extremely low paced match, holiday footy at its best.
Some decent passing and attacking moves but it was quite clear that we were told to pace ourselves.

Alberto, Borini, Ibe, Sterling, Coutinho and Wisdom were good.
Stand out performer: Allen. He was boss.

Drunk as fuck and happy with a decent atmosphere.

I only saw about 25 mins of this, and two things stood out in that time:

1 - Joe Allen was running the show
2 - Martin Kelly's hair is an abortion

Can someone who watched the whole 90 mins confirm both those things continued?

That video covers every touch he got in the game, so there's not really that much more I can say about his performance.
Alberto looked confident and was given space and time on the ball.
Played in front of Hendo and Allen in midfield and was basically our creative outlet in the first half.

Allen ran the show in midfield. Worked his socks off in attack and defence.

Both are spot on. Allen was the best player on the pitch and about 16 000 fans agreed that Kelly need to sort his fucking hair out.

He was good mate. Great passing and a couple of decent shots. Always wanting the ball and trying to do something positive with it. Alberto and Aspas linked up very well.
The goal ment a lot to him as he celebrated like he had scored the winner in the FA cup final, but I liked that.
Some of his ball controll and technique was excellent. But dont get me started about Coutinho. That lad can play..

Like I said before, Alberto has a really excellent right-footed shot. His technique of striking the ball on the volley is impeccable, reminds me of Toni Kroos. He will score some screamers for us, that's for sure.
