Christ Mark, how was that Agger's goal? Are you slightly drunk?

Oh and Skrtel is gone mate, not good enough for a top team.

Not good enough? You mean "not Danish". Agger's still dining on a goal from six years ago, yet idiots still believe the hype. Don't get all smug about Skrtel going, about the only positive is that we're actually exposing just how average and overrated the likes of Agger are.

Yes - I'm in Malaysia to have a sex change - strong Aussie $ / chance reinvent myself.

You know how it goes.

First 25 minutes were not bad. For the away side we were doing okay. Not enough happening up front though. But Villa are clearly a very flaky side. One goal back and it could turn around very quickly.

Yeah, i thought we looked really bright and determined to start....

Villa are trying hard tho and could have had a couple.

Lets get a goal and see who's got the minerals.

Don't care if you don't agree with Rodgers here, I do.[/quote]

You are the comical Ali of 6cm for your agger love in.

You calling Rodgers an idiot then? And Danish? Don't know what's worse...

Anyways it's obvious you don't like Agger and he's not had a great Season but it's a bit weird you lay blame on every goal we conceede at his feets. Todays a good example.

Are people going to continue excusing the same bollocks week in week out from the likes of Johnson and the featherlight Dane because they're "great going forward"?

Personally I prefer defenders who actually can defend.

These are our best players Mark!!!!!!!!

We have to keep them at all costs. It's what big clubs do.

The above is the attitude of the majority of our fanbase, the unfortunate conclusion is that our fanbase are largely not very clever.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, Ok. It was Aggers goal then? Do you even watch the bloody game, eh?

I didn't blame him Kris, I said him and Johnson are continuously getting a reprieve from people because they're "good going forward", which is dumb.

You are very clever though, right?

Right.

O
The entire defence has been awful.
Lucas looks like he has smoked some pre game crack

Maybe.

But we've scored twice as many today as we otherwise would have without him. According to our statistical wizzes.

Slow motion of tackles make so-so ones look awful, fine, but some of Lucas's you do watch and wonder what the FECK was he thinking?? He seems obsessed these days with trying to tackle from behind. He must know you can't tackle from behind. The club's weird little 'video analyst' must know you can't tackle from behind. So why is he still doing it? They must be showing him this stuff but still he does it. It's exasperating.

3 things:

1. Our current CB partnership is simply not equipped to deal with a player like Benteke. Neither Carra no Agger come close to matching Benteke's athleticism, so every long ball in the general direction of our penalty area becomes a threat. Maybe Skrtel even on current form would be a bit more effective. In any case, the need for strong, athletic CB to complement Agger becomes exposed once again.

2. Suarez is having one of those days - so far. When he was gifted a 1 on 1 with Guzan by the Villa player's backpass, you could see he knew he wouldn't score there. Very unusual. We had enough chances to score at least a couple of goals had he not been so wasteful.

3. Despite playing a 3-man midfield, we are not dominating the middle of the park, like we should. Villa is using long balls to bypass our midfield and because our CB are poorly matched with Benteke, they don't need to do anything special to create chances. Maybe we need a striker more than a 3rd midfielder in this game.
