He was trying to do too much with the ball. In the first 15min I was wondering what Rodgers may have instructed him today because it seemed uncharacteristic.

I think it had more to do with our midfield not really dropping deep to receive the ball and link up with our strikers. I wasn't particularly bothered with it at the time, I think Kolo felt the need to be aggressive early on.

Sakho had one match where he played about ten horrendous passes straight to opponents. God knows what happened to Toure today but he's still way down the list of the cock-ups. All of our defenders seem obsessed with passing sideways instead of forwards. We've got to get it out of our game.

Sakho is a car crash waiting to happen. Yes, Toure may have had a nightmare moment, but he is still way better than Sakho is. When you see a left defensive side of Sakho and Cissokho, you can't help but thinking you are likely conceding from something down that side.

To be fair he was utter garbage toward the end of last season.. This season he has been the most consistent out of all of them...

Indeed. I've always liked Skittles. He's been one our best players this season. The rest of the defenders (especially the 2nd string) have been largely poor.

It was a stupid mistake to make, under no pressure what-so-ever.. but yeah he doesn't deserve to be hung out to dry....

I just hope those points dropped don't come back to bite us at the end of the season..
