Just been told the below, so how much would you take. I'd be happy with 45 Mil.

Apparently all the sunday papers are going to be reporting a deal for Torres to city in January is done, although Torres himself favours a move to chelsea.

£50m+

And as much as I'd hate to see him go it might end up being a good deal for us if the whole fee is available for transfers.

reliability of source? your usual one?

Yep......

sound

dzeko wants to leave wolfsburg and should cost us 30, leaving us enough money to get another quality forward. or perhaps sahin and turan

But a paper reporting something doesn't mean it's going to happen...does it??
Very true, as I say it's only the papers reporting it. And he could be wrong he has on occasions been wrong.

I was kind of being hopeful. I can see Torres being sold. I'm just not sure it'll be in January and if it'll be to another English club.

Actually if he did go to City I'd like it to be a part-exchange deal. Surely it would be possible to squeeze a good deal out of that cunt sheik?

Adebayor+A.Johnson+£40m

i think i'm past caring. if he goes to city then we should absolutely screw them on the fee, obviously. these are the people who paid £22m for joleon lescott. £50m minimum.

Watching our rapid decline in the past 12 month has numbed my senses somewhat, a year ago I would have shouted and sworn a little and told City to f**k off. Now it's like oh ok, one of our best players is going to leave and our only threatening striker and I'm not even sad, angry just emotionally numb when it comes to LFC related news.

It will be good for him to move to a club who wants to play football, and who is involved in exciting games.. I hope for his own good that it is not Man City, with so many other prestigous and good clubs wanting his signature. For us? Well we are a fucking joke and and uninspiring Want-to-be-Fulham club so how can we demand anyting from him.

paper bollox..

Tevez leaving... Torres coming the other way..

They tried to do it with the Rooney fiasco..

Bollox.. A1 Bolloxs..

He will leave in the summer, prolly back to spain...

Well there's only really City or Chelsea that could give us an exuberant fee for him.
SO to another league for less then 30 or to one of the 2 for 40m+?
To a better league for less money. I worship him and want the best for him.

Plus, if he goes to another Prem side, it'll make us look like a confirmed selling club.

I can't believe the guy would want to play for a different English club anyway.

we kinda are a selling club
Thats unfair. We replace players we sell with stronger younger talents. We sold Mascherano and replaced him with Poulsen you know!!!!

It's true that for the moment we lean more towards that status than any of us would like. I said "confirmed selling club" rather than just "selling club", though, because I'm still hopeful that we can progress out of our current situation once Roy's replaced and the off-the-field position is sorted.
