Fuck it. I have followed this team all over. If i had a choice I would be at anfield next Sunday. It's tough being that close and losing out, but I would be there to cheer on the team. We have exceeded the wildest of expectations, we have beaten some tough teams, we have annihilated arsenal, Tottenham, United and Everton, we have scored 99 goals, we have played some sexy football, we have scored some amazing goals - unbelievable goals at that. We played like Liverpool of an era gone by.

Yes this was the best chance to win the league we have seen in the past 20 years, but we can hold our heads up high for playing this well, this spirit, this run, this approach all of it.

We have competed against oligarchs, against cunts, against the odds until the 36 th game of the season. Inspite of the resources we had we have gotten to this stage.

I have never supported Liverpool because we fighting for the league (not in my era), i have supported us because being Liverpool is being part of a huge family, a way of life, an aspiration, an attitude to do the right thing, losing out on the title this season doesn't change that.

When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high, at the end of the storm there is a golden sky,

Today I hold my head high.

Our Defence is shit though...

Punters said it would cost us the title.. and sadly those punters where right..

This is the second week running I will not be able to bring myself to listening to talk sport.. 🙁

I am absolutely wasted, agreed! But like those drunken texts and the drink dialing, this makes 200% sense right now.

I was with you until you started getting all camp and gay at the end.

We go into the last match of the season with a chance of winning the title - that has not happened since 1990 (and probably longer as we won that one with a game or two to spare). That is an immense achievement ... and who knows ...
