So which prem manager will get given the boot first?

Will we see a sacking before crimbo ?

So far, 2 games in you could make a case for Jose Mourinho, Steve McLaren and Dick Advocaat

I reckon Steve McLaren will be the first to go.. But would love it to be Jose...

You could make a case for José could you ?

Good luck with that.
Yep...at Chelsea the manager is never all that far from the sack. Maybe not first put but if they go out of the CL he could well be gone before Christmas.

Why are hypothesising that they may go out of the champions league though ? It's incredibly early doors

I agree, its not inconceivable its just incredibly unlikely regardless of the first two results of this season .

I picked Pochetino before the start of the season but it will most likely be Advocaat

People have been saying that Mourinho's job might not be as secure as you'd think, both before and after the City result.

Prior to the match there was some talk of Abramovich being a bit sick of his shite already, particularly with the Doctor thing.

I don't see Mourinho getting the boot but he typically walks away when he knows theres a tough squad rebuild due.

I can see Mclaren being in this race as well - I think in their next six games they play United, Arsenal, Chelsea and City.

Lose those four and they'll be hovering around the danger zone a quarter of the way through the season. I can't imagine he was a popular appointment in the first place

It's not that bad at Chelsea, is it?

They need a couple players in defence and that's it, really. After that, it's just squad depth.

They could recall a few of 12,324 players they have out on loan too.

So no its not that bad at the moment

Abramovich might get rid of Mourinho if he had better options lined up, which he doesn't, so that will just drag on and on.

Sunderland could quite possibly realise they've sacked enough managers and concentrate instead on the players. That squad has basically downed tools time and again and until the owners sort that out, who the manager is isn't going to be that relevant.

Martinez is the one who intrigues me. A portion of the fans are already tired of his mad hyping of players and his tactical flaws. He got some credit at the weekend but there's not much of it. A few defeats and he could be out.

Advocaat, as everyone says, but the fault is not his though. Look at the diabolical squad he's had to work with. At the back, Wes Brown and John O'Shea are still in the team, and while Brown has a year to go on his contract, O'Shea has two! They brought in Kaboul on the cheap from Spurs, but he's cheap for a reason. In midfield, Cattermole's new contract penned in June puts him on the books until 2021! Up front, Fletcher and Graham both have a year to go - Fletcher scored 19 goals in 3 seasons for them before this one and Graham has 1 goal in 31 games. And they gave Defoe a 3-year contract so they'll be paying him till he's 35 and can't run anymore. At least he'll score a little though - 5 goals in 21; not good but a damn sight better than the rest.

They so need to spend 12m on Borini to score soma goals and maybe put up 4m on Enrique to shore up their backline. I think Balotelli will be pushing it.

Advocaat could certainly go if things don't improve quick smart up there, but if that happens I reckon he could well walk rather than get the boot.

Incidentally I don't think our own manager will get away with the kind of slow start we've always made under him up till now. FSG may not necessarily demand champagne football but I do expect them to demand that we're clearly in contention in the league come the end of the year.

Before the season started I'd have said Ranieri but two wins changes things quickly. Advocaat has probably got some leeway after the way he kept them up last season and they pushed quite hard for him to sign a new contract.
But he'll feel the pressure if this continues.

Dont think Bournemouth will sack Howe even if they go down. McClaren is a good shout.

I'd love to watch Spurs or Chelsea implode though.

I read somewhere that the majority of the Everton players hate his guts. Dont know if its true mind.
