Poor Rodwell ... Daniele de Rossi's agent is apparently in Mancland to discuss a move for his man to Manchester City.
Scott Sinclair will not be signing a new contract at Swansea. That's what Michael Laudrup says, here:
"I have spoken to Scott and he confirmed what he said to the chairman that he won't sign a new contract," said Laudrup.
"But he is here now and that's what important for me. You never know what will happen tomorrow or the day after but there is no point arguing about it, we have to get on with it.
"Until August 31 anything can happen. Of course there is interest from a big club in Scott but the only thing I care about in the short term is that it does not effect him for Saturday.
"If it effects the player then we have to talk about. I will talk to Scott and if he says no he does not want to play then we will see, if he says 'I'm a professional' then I know he is in the squad."
Manchester City are, of course, thought to be interested.

#LFC have accepted a loan offer for Jay Spearing from Chester Zoo. The move could be made permanent if he proves a successful attraction.
Good for him and Everton.Adam Johnson hands in transfer request
I cant see Everton getting him. His wages will be way to high.
Mirallas is on his way to Everton though. 6 mill.
One player Mancini is hoping to sign is Athletic Bilbao's midfielder Javi Martinez, but he accepts that they face competition from a number of other clubs vying for his signature.
"We talked about Martinez with his club but it isn't an easy situation because there are three or four top clubs who want him," he said. "Sometimes it isn't enough to have the money to spend. When there are other top teams after a player it is difficult."
He also admitted that there is "no chance" of landing either Daniel De Rossi, the Roma midfielder, or Daniel Agger, the Liverpool defender.
I read some where else that he said he didn't think that they would sign Agger.
Not quite so categoric.
I think it was the actual quote

Official statement Arsenal: "Arsenal Football Club can confirm that terms have been agreed for the transfer of Alex Song to Barcelona."

Statement Arsenal: "Song will now travel to the Catalan club to agree personal terms and undergo a medical ahead of the proposed move."
Good
Sahin ain't a DM thoughDoesn't this now mean Arsenal will go all out for Sahin ?
Sahin ain't a DM though
They need someone to cover their shoddy defence
IF they get him then fair enough, but its a msssive risk to not get a DM
I think the Gooners are still in for M'villa
Villas-Boas outlined the club's intentions to sign a more forward-thinking midfielder.
He told L'Equipe: "He is an interesting player, but I don't think he will join Tottenham. He is a rather defensive player, but I don't think he will join Tottenham.
"We are looking for a more creative player. I won't lie. There was an interest from us in that player, but now we are looking at different options."
